You do get the feeling a very confused Wesley Sneijder is about show at the Lane after some deal involving Modric going the other way.
And somehow Kaka.
I spent the morning listening to TalkSport. The number of Spurs fans who came on and said Harry had to go was amazing. Apparently he's tactically inept and the fans are sick of Spurs missing out. He got Spurs into the Champions League! And to the QF of that! And finishing in the top 6 two seasons running! Add he has a team that has (for what it's worth) at least three players that any top club would pay big bucks for (Modric, Bale and Van der Vaart). Prior to that Spurs were doing that thing that Newcastle fans do where they insist they should really be winning the league because they really are one of the original big clubs. So now Harry's terrible and they want.....who?
Mind you - he is saying that the plan this year is to get Joe Cole and Scott Parker so maybe you're right.

I've said it before, the fans they pick to come on TalkSport are a load of clueless numpties, if you ask any decent, loyal, half intelligent Spurs fan about Harry, they would say he is one of the best managers we've had. The ones spouting off at the moment are the knee jerk idiots that are whining because we've had 2 crap matches against the top 2 teams in the premiership.
Harry's starting line up on Sunday was a risk, if Man City hadn't been so shit hot it may have paid off and all the TalkShit numpties would have been singing his praises, but it went the wrong way for Harry and now they're all baying for blood, let's get real we've played 2 matches so far this season, there's a long way to go, we have a some quality players with or without Modric, and Harry'll have something up his sleeve for sure before midnight tomorrow.....and lastly I would like to say if there are any Russian billionaires who would like to buy potentially the best club in the EPL could they please make themselves known to me now.....

I will say that at least Krancjar looked shit hot in the first game. He was pretty dire in the second though.
I say get shot of Modric. But not to Chelski - swap him for Diarra at Real Madrid. Then you'd have Krancjar, Diarra, Sandro, Bale, Pienaar, Huddlestone, Livermore, Lennon, Jenas, Van der Vaart, Rose and the new boy Falque all in midfield. Add you're likely getting Parker but not Joe Cole who is off to France. Modric is damn good, but Diarra is a mile more useful. Add that if Crouch is leaving (and he is) then that means Harry will buy a new striker as well. Presumably he'll fluke someone - like one of the ten AC Milan strikers out on loan. They're all decent.
And for God sake please sell Bentley. He's atrocious, expensive and his fat arrogant jaw makes me ill.
