Hi there,

I will be moving to Abu Dhabi from London with my husband and working at Etihad's head office next month. Would love advice on:
- How long the drive is from corniche/khalidiya/downtown AD to Etihad's head office and is it worth it? Pros & cons?
- Suggested areas for a couple to live in (no children, early to mid 30s) that has access to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, gyms, cafes, etc
- Thoughts on living in the Al Raha Beach complex? (Al Bandar, Al Zeina, Al Muneera)

Many thanks in advance!

go for al raha just across the road. corniche to etihad plaza etc would be in excess of 30 mins at rush hour on wacky races. live off the island and save yourself the bother.

Thanks busybee2! Is there plenty to do around Al Raha or will it feel very isolated/ suburban?

Hi Ipoww, we are in the same situation as you and we are not wanting to live too suburban, but of course AD isn't the biggest and happening place so we have to keep that in mind.

Interested to hear your thoughts and where you ended up and if it meets your reqs. The other half is keen for gym classes and we are also in our early 30's about to work at Etihad office.

Cheers
