I met Paul Parker when I was a nipper. I was at a football camp for kids and they had promised a big name. I'd rather have met Les Sealey.

I seem to have a gift. A gift for buying a good player, who then sucks and the minute I sell him becomes a mega star of awesome that my friends have been kicking me in the arse with.

So you might want to see who I flog.

My Dad took me to Old Trafford to see United v Saints. We did a hospitality thing, nothing fancy, just in one of the big rooms. Deal was you met a current player and an oldie.

Dad spent the 5 hour drive telling me to expect someone shit like Wes Brown. Proper downer and got there expecting some terrible squad player. Kinda was right, but Teddy Sheringham wasn't a bad person to meet.

Oh and the old man was buzzing when Norman Whiteside came and told shit old stories at our table.

We lost 5-0.

Hey man, for like a year and a half in the late-90s or early 2000s Wes Brown was mustard.
