My first watch was a Sekonda. An 11th birthday present from my grandmother who felt 11 was the perfect age to own a watch and had done the same for my brother and sister. Still got it but never wear watches now.

I prefer Breitling's they are a good investment and hold their value pretty well i have two of them but I'm going to get a Bell and Ross WW1-92 Heritage next nice vintage look. Biggest downside to investing in watches like that is remembering to change what your wearing to the task ahead.

I have no idea of it's actual value, or even if it has one but to me it's priceless.
My Grandma had a very similar watch...solid gold. She left it to mum but I don't know what happened to it.

My mum bought me a Cyma Cymaflex for my twenty first. It cost her more than I grossed in a month back then. I still have it but I can't be bothered to get the camera out. This one, from Etsy, is the same except that mine is not a "Watersport" model (looks like he wears it on his right wrist).

So my regular watch was RELIC. I always thought it was a fake fossil.

I got it as a secret santa gift worth 10 quid, but i used it for 15 years.
