Excellent, but have the soup - not the pie.

OK time has run away with me attending to motherly duties tonight (and not just for Scamp, for my other 2 as well), I will try and put together a team tomorrow. I have never played FF before so be gentle with me, 2 questions: 1. Can you change your team up until the transfer window closes? 2. I'm thinking of playing Ade up front and Hudd in midfield, am I on the right lines? __________________ Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, then it's not the end yet. |

1. Yes - actually up until just before the first game of the season I think. You also get between 1 and 2 free transfers a week, and a wildcard (where you can rebuild your team a la QPR / 'Arry) once a season. Other transfers (non-free) will deduct 4 points off your score. Do your team selection on a Saturday morning for the selections to count.
2. No.
2. No.

And a maximum of 3 players from any team.
Thanks Mike

If Ade is listed as a striker and Hudd is listed as a midfielder, yes! You can only play players in their lidsted positions, players are only listed as one of GK, Defender, Midfield or Striker, but you can play 3-5-2/3-4-3/4-4-2/4-5-1/5-4-1.

Right ladies, I've picked a team but haven't got a Scooby what to do next.
How do you move the players around the pitch or are they automatically placed in their normal playing position? Can you not play a player out of position?
Be afraid, I've got some right lookers in my team!

Defenders are automatically placed in defence, MFs in MF etc etc but their placement is not related to how they would actually line up in reality.
You use the little yellow arrows to change players from team to subs bench. You could happily play 5 left backs in defence if you wanted to.
You can chose your formation as well just by using the substitute in/out arrows. You can play 3-5-2, 4-4-2 4-3-3 5-3-2 5-2-3 etc
Another thing to note is your Capt scores double points so you select him carefully (or just choose RVP or Bale like pretty much everyone else did last year).
You need to finalise your team before the first game kicks off each week.
Hope that helps - let us know how you get on.

On the Fantasy Premier League site, go to Leagues, Join A League, Private League then enter 88289-26289 as the code. You'll have joined the BE League.
Good luck everyone, except when you play my team of course.

don't worry Sultan,
Ed and I are complete rubbish at FF and last year we both finished miles in front of someone else who has already entered
the race for the bottom places in the table will be crowded
